1909, 10¢ yellow coil (Scott 356), "paste-up pair", tied on small piece by
Washington, D.C. DO cancel. Guide line pairs of this exceptionally Rare coil
cat. $29,000 used. It should be noted that "paste-up" pairs are just as rare, as
the production was equal and a case could be made that there are less surviving
"paste-up" pairs, cat. $10,500.00 as regular used pair, Fine, 1998 P.F. cert.
Estimate $15,000 - 20,000. |
